Can you explain the difference between mono and duotones.

Monotones are images created with one colour and white. Respectively duotones are made up of any two colours and white.
I am not sure how to select colours?

Selecting colours can be as simple or as indepth as you want it to be. For example, if you like the selection of colours in the style example you have chosen, you can simply select 'use same colours as chosen example'. However, if you have a specific idea of the colour/s you would like in mind, then simply click on the preferred colours of your choice in the colour palette displayed. Remember before production of your picture takes place you will see an online proof of your artwork.
What is the best size image for the picture?

We can enlarge and enhance most pictures to some extent. Please remember that the larger and sharper the image to start with, the better the outcome. The top setting your camera goes to is obviously the best. Give us a call for advice if you are at all unsure.
How can I check my order?

You can view your order at any time by selecting the cart icon. If all steps have a tick applied to them, this means you have completed your order request and can proceed to the checkout to process it. Remember once you have chosen your selection you can amend it at any time until it is processed.
How do I view my proofs?

Once you have placed you're order with us you will receive notification of the order. Then within 7 working days you will receive you're online digital proofs via email.
What is a gallery wrapped canvas?

A gallery wrapped canvas is where the image on the front wraps around the side of the frame.
If I buy a piece of Artwork today. How long will it take to be delivered?

Once Image Artwork have received your image, it will take approximately 3-7 working days to complete your artwork. You will then receive an email prompting you to go online and proof view your artwork for acceptance. From that point, the completed artwork will take approximatley 7-10 working days for delivery.
How do I choose a frame?

Once you have selected the design style of your choice, you then move to the frame selection. Using the pull down frame range available, you have the option of selecting from one of eight different frame styles, all with different aperture arrangements available in either landscape or portrait.
Can I order reprints at a later date?

Each image processed at Image Artwork is then archived. Therefore, if you require additional Artwork at a later date for example, for Birthday or Christmas presents, then simply contact us.
I am not sure what colours to choose?

Some people may want to select colours that are vivid and bright, to stand out rather than blend in. If you require something that blends in to its surroundings, then it is recommended that you select colours in the same range such as “all pastel colours”, or a range of the same colour. Alternatively, you can select the "same colour" as the example or let our Image Artwork Designer’s create a picture they feel most compliments your image.
If I order two pieces of Artwork, would the second one be cheaper?

If you order additional pictures in the same size, you will qualify for a 20% discount on the second. This discount is possible because the image manipulation has already been completed. For further information on qualifying for a discount, please email Image Artwork on info@imageartwork.co.uk or contact us on 01243-776261.
Will you re-touch the image?

Our Image Artwork Designer’s may adjust your images to enhance the colour balance but will not “re-touch” the content of the image unless otherwise requested. Alternatively, if you would like something removed from the picture for example, then this is also not a problem.
What size of photo file is best for producing good quality pictures?

If you send Image Artwork the largest size resolution you have, our Designer’s can reduce the resolution if necessary. Image Artwork also has the necessary software to introduce resolution into pictures, so do not be concerned if you think your picture is not a good enough quality. Some of the image manipulation we do does not require high resolution.
I'm worried I will not like the end product from the styles and colours I have chosen.

No Problem. Nothing gets produced onto canvas until you have seen the proofs of the Artwork. If there is something you are unhappy with we can change it at this point. It is only when you are truly happy with the proof that we then produce your personalised artwork.
Can I send the files in the post?

The best way to send digital files to Image Artwork is through our upload server via the Image Artwork website (www.imageartwork.co.uk) because of it’s security and reliability. However if preferred, files can also be sent by post to Image Artwork on CD, DVD, ZIP, Flash cards etc. However, once you have saved your file(s) to the removal media of your choice, it is recommended that you check your saved file opens from the disk before sending it to Image Artwork. This will avoid any unnecessary delay.
What format should I save the files in?

Image Artwork has the ability to open most file formats TIFF, EPS, BMP, etc (PC or MAC). However, the best file format to provide Image Artwork with if possible, is JPEG for its portability and ease of use.
