What is a gallery wrap?

Gallery wrap is the term used to describe artwork on canvas that are hung on the wall without any picture frame
|
The canvas is wrapped around the edge and stapled to the back of the
stretcher frame.
|
You can have the image wrapped around the canvas or not (as seen in the images below).
|
Gallery Wrap canvases are widely used because they provide a very attractive
and economical way of displaying art.
